We covered a lot of ground with Mike Rhoades, Penn State's new men's basketball coach and a guy Mike Gross and I have known for years, dating back to his heyday at Lebanon Valley. We talked about rebuilding the roster, NIL, the transfer portal, Joe Crispin's role on his staff, jousting with Pat Flannery's nephew at a summer camp in Martz Hall years ago (to the point that Pat had to throw both of them out of the gym), etc.
